These are the standards we hold ourselves to — and the reason we publish this page instead of asking you to take our word for it.
Editorial independence
Rankings and placement are never sold. No vendor can buy a higher position, a better score, or a review we did not write.
Reviewed before it is listed
Every tool is checked before it goes live — that it is genuinely operating, that it does what it claims, and that its price matches its own page.

Some links to vendors earn us a commission. It never changes what we recommend, and it never costs you more than going direct.
Kept current, not frozen
Prices, listings and event dates are refreshed continuously. Tools that shut down are removed rather than left behind as dead links.
Nothing reaches the catalog unchecked
Before a tool appears in the catalog we confirm three things: that it is genuinely operating, that it does what its marketing claims, and that the pricing we publish matches the vendor’s own page. Tools that fail any of those checks do not get listed, however popular they happen to be.
Once a listing is live it stays under review. Prices change, free tiers get withdrawn and products get discontinued — so our listings are checked continuously and corrected when reality moves.

Written by our editors, never by vendors
Scores and verdicts are written by our editors after using a tool for the job it claims to do. We do not republish vendor marketing as a review, and we do not let a company approve, edit or veto what we write about it.
Placement is not for sale. Nobody can pay for a higher position in the catalog, a better rating, a featured slot or a place in our comparison tables. Where a placement is commercial, it is labelled as commercial.
